Collecting Sheet Music is personal !
Some people collect sheet music for the old artistic covers, many of the older pieces (and some newer ones) are artist signed and very beautiful.
Some people collect sheet music with covers that tie to their hobbies ---railroads, ships, sewing, etc. ---or to their careers ---military covers are big!
Some people collect sheet music for a favorite song, one that brings back memories...or just to inspire oneself --you'll find yourself humming everytimeyou glance at that piece.
Some people collect sheet music from movies. What an affordable way to have a movie poster from days gone by (and it does save on space!).
Some people collect their favorite artist! Just to glance at that guy/gal can brighten one's day! While others collect a certain writer ---good luck collecting all Irving Berlin tunes!
