Expert Secrets to Look Fabulous in Your Wedding Dress

Experts Secrets to Minimize Your Figure Flaws, Look Fabulous In Your Wedding Gown!

To keep your gown from slipping off your shoulder or exposing too much cleavage, use double sided dress tape. This is available at bridal salons and it won't hurt the fabric of your gown or hurt your skin.

Buy a crinoline with an elastic top that zips or velcros at the waistline. This will keep your waistline pulled in and smooth under the dress. Don't wear a drawstring crinoline.A drawstring crinoline bunches and may show though your dress. The elastic top will also be more gefortable. Don'twear a hoop under satin, the boning in the hoops will show through.

Buy the best bra you can afford. A great fitting bra will align your body with the line of the gown. It uplifts and slims at the same time. A good foundation will affect the fit of your gown.

If you absolutely must wear a bra with straps and you want to wear a strapless gown, buy a bra with clear plastic straps. They'll blend in with your skin and keep you supported.

To hide large hips, choose an A-line, box pleated or basque waistline. A basquewaistline cut low on the hipline will make you look hippier, choose a basque that hugs the natural waistline and hides the hips. This will also make your waist look smaller.

To minimize a large bustline, DO NOT choose an empire waistline. It will make you look larger. Choose a princess seamed gown that doesn't have seams under the bust line. A halter neckline is also flattering as it creates a vertical line.

To maximimize a small bust, add bra cups to the gown. The new gel cups have gel in the bottoms of the shaped cup. They have a natural feel and look natural in the gown. They shape the gown naturally. There are also push up bra cups that will add cleavage.

If you tend to go up and down 5 pounds, consider a lace up back gown. You can adjust the top to adapt to the monthly body changes and eleminate alterations.

If you are buying a strapless gown, make sure it is boned to stay up. Boning are plastic strips sewn usually vertically at angles inside the gown to keep the gown from sagging. Some strapless gowns will have a geplete inner foundation in the bodice to keep the gown gefortable and in place.

Wear gefortable shoes. Don't get your gown hemmed with heels and then change at the reception to lower heels or worse yet, no shoes, because your gown will drag on the floor and be a dirt magnet. You can buy gefortable, cute and yes, even sexy shoes that you can keep on all day long. Remember that your feet will swell during the day and especially in the heat. Tiny strappy shoes will cut into your feet. Leather shoes will breathe, fabric shoes won't.

Choose a flattering color to your skin tone. If you are pale skinned, consider a diamond white, cream, ivory, champagne or rum pinkgown to bring out pink tones in your skin. If you are olive skinned, make sure the color doesn't bring outyellow tones in your skin. Put the color next to your face. If the gown gives you a green tone around your mouth area, choose another color! The newest trend is color in gowns, you might want to put some color next to your face to enhance your look.

Consider having your makeup done professionally on your wedding day. There are salons and independentbeauty consultants that will make you up to look fabulous in person and in your pictures.

Choose a headpiece and veil that frames your face. If you have a very round face, a tiara with a higher point in the center will slim your face. If your face is thin and narrow, choose a delicate headpiece that won't overwhelm you.

To hide a tattoo, there are tattoo cover creams that will cover the tattoo. Practice with it first or have someone help you so it doesn't transfer to your dress.

If you are considering a special hairdo for your wedding day, practice it at the salon with your tiara and veil. Don't be surprized on your wedding day with a hairdo you hate. Take pics of the style so your stylist can duplicate the hairdo you've chosen.
