What is a nice,safe place to live that is outside of Baltimore?

I have two kids and I;m taking care of my grandmother. I live on fixed income. Moving to Baltimore from Nashville. I ;m looking for a home that is less than 150,000.|||Sorry to tell you, but you;ll have a really tough time finding decent housing for that amount of money. According to a recent magazine article, one of the best areas to live in the whole USA is Columbia, MD, just about 1/2 hour from Baltimore. But prices are generally higher, even for condo units or townhouses. Go to Realtor.com and ask for housing in Columbia, MD, and surrounding areas. You;ll see what is available.
